When planning a unit, a week, or even a lesson, both short and long-term objectives should always be in consideration. The most effective planning comes from a balance of trajectory and flexibility. There should always be room for adjustment within intended goals whether that be from the start of the period to the end, or August to June.

Jordan demonstrated an exemplary level of preparation and planning throughout her entire experience. Her written planning included the use of PA Core Standards which were connected to the daily learning goals and appropriate for the planned lessons. She developed considerable skill in keeping records, responding to student queries, and maintaining student focus.
